💻 For PC Users
1. Log in to your MT5 app.
2. In the Navigator window (left sidebar), right-click the currency pair you wish to trade.
3. From the menu that appears, click **""New Order.""**
4. In the order type section, select **""Pending Order""**, then choose **""Limit Order.""**
5. Set the limit price:
* Enter your desired price in the price field. This price should be more favorable than the current market price (e.g., lower than the current price for a buy limit order, or higher for a sell limit order).
* For example, if the current price is 1.1500, a buy limit order should be placed below that (e.g., 1.1499), and a sell limit order above that (e.g., 1.1501).
6. Set the order volume (lot size).
7. Optionally, set **Stop Loss (SL)** and **Take Profit (TP)**:
* These prices will trigger automatic execution if reached. For a buy limit order, you can also specify your desired SL and TP prices.
8. Set the order expiration:
* If left as ""Good Till Cancelled,"" the order remains valid until executed. You can also specify a custom expiration date/time.
9. Once all fields are completed, click the **""Place""** button to submit your limit order.
📱 For Mobile Web Users
1. Log in to your MT5 app.
2. From the Navigator or currency pair list, select the pair you wish to trade and go to the chart screen.
3. Tap the **""Trade""** or **""Order""** button from the menu at the top or bottom of the chart.
4. On the new order screen, choose the order type. Select **""Pending Order""**, then choose **""Limit Order.""**
5. Set your limit price:
* Enter the price in the ""Price"" field. It should be more favorable than the current market price.
* For example, if the current price is 1.1500, set a buy limit order at 1.1499 or lower, and a sell limit order at 1.1501 or higher.
6. Set the order volume (lot size).
7. Optionally, set Stop Loss (SL) and Take Profit (TP):
* These ensure your order will be automatically closed when the market hits those prices.
8. Set the order expiration:
* By default, the order is valid until executed. If you'd like to limit the duration, specify an expiration time.
9. Tap **""Place""** or **""Submit""** to confirm your limit order.
Once submitted successfully, your limit order will appear in the ""Orders"" or ""Trade History"" tab. The order will only be executed if the market price reaches the specified limit price."
