① **Change Chart Colors**
You can freely customize chart colors in MT4. For example, to change the candlestick colors:
* Right-click on the chart → select **“Properties”**
* Under the **“Colors”** tab, you can set the background, candlestick, up and down colors
* Example: set green for bullish candles and red for bearish candles
② **Add Indicators**
MT4 allows you to add various technical indicators:
* Go to **Insert → Indicators**, then select the indicator you want to use (e.g., Moving Average, Bollinger Bands)
* A settings window will appear where you can adjust parameters like values and colors
* Click **OK** to apply the indicator
③ **Zoom In/Out on the Chart**
To scale the chart display:
* Use your mouse scroll wheel or drag the chart edges
* You can also adjust the time intervals on the horizontal axis to change the visible range
④ **Show/Hide Gridlines**
* Right-click on the chart → select **“Grid”** to toggle it on or off
⑤ **Save Chart Template**
You can save frequently used chart layouts as templates:
* Right-click on the chart → select **“Template” → “Save Template”**
* To apply the saved layout on other currency pairs or timeframes, right-click again → **“Template” → choose your saved template**
【Mobile】
① **Change Chart Colors**
Color customization is more limited on mobile than PC, but still possible:
* Tap the **Settings (gear icon)** on the chart screen
* Go to **Chart Settings → Color Settings** to change bullish and bearish candlestick colors
② **Add Indicators**
You can add technical indicators for analysis:
* Tap the **Indicators (square icon)** at the top of the chart
* Choose from the list (e.g., Moving Average, MACD, RSI)
* Adjust the settings and add the indicator to the chart
③ **Zoom In/Out on the Chart**
* Use pinch-in and pinch-out gestures to zoom in/out
* You can also drag the vertical and horizontal axes to adjust the scale manually
④ **Draw Trendlines or Horizontal Lines**
You can draw trendlines or support/resistance lines:
* Long-press on the chart → select **“Drawing Tools”** from the menu
* Choose **Line**, **Trendline**, or **Horizontal Line**, then drag on the chart to draw
⑤ **Show/Hide Gridlines**
* Tap the **Settings (gear icon)** at the top of the chart
* Toggle the **Grid Display** option on or off
