How to turn on Two-factor Authentication (2FA)?

Here we will walk you through the steps below to turn on Two-factor Authentication (2FA):

① Log into the bitcastleFX app > tap [Settings & Support] on the main screen
② Tap [Security] > Tap the grey button [Google Authenticator]
③ Enter your login password > tap [Verify]
④ Follow the instruction to install the Google Authenticator app from the App Store or Google Play store on your smartphone
⑤ When the installation is completed, scroll down and copy the "Setup key"
You can copy it by clicking on the square mark right beside the "Setup key"

Please note that the setting key is issued only to you, and bitcastle cannot reissue or confirm the setting key.

*The setting key is also required when resetting the two-step authentication, so please keep it in a safe place.

⑥ Open the Google Authenticator app installed on your smartphone and tap [Get Started].
⑦ Tap the icon [+] at the bottom right of the screen > select [Enter a setup key]
⑧ For "Account", enter your email address registered with bitcastle.
For "Key", paste the "Setup key" you have copied
⑨ After entering the email address and the "Setup Key", tap [Add].
⑩ Once setting up is completed, the Google Authenticator app will display a 6-digit code.
　
※ If the code cannot be entered within 30 seconds, the error says "Invalid authentication code" and the new code will be updated.
Therefore, please check the timer next to the 6-digit code and enter a valid authentication code before it expires.

⑪ Return to the bitcastleFX screen > tap [Next step] displayed under the "Setup key".

⑫ In "Google Authenticator Code", enter the 6-digit code displayed on the Google Authenticator app. Enter (or paste) it and tap [Verify].

※ You can copy by tapping the 6-digit code.
※ The 6-digit code updates every 30 seconds.
※ The valid time is displayed by a timer next to the 6 digits code.
※ If you enter the code when the numbers are updated, you will be able to log in more smoothly.

⑬ When you see "Enabled" screen displayed, the Two-factor Authentication (2FA) setup is completed.
